Cancellation policy

ARTICLE 7 – CANCELLATION

If the consumer wants to cancel the rental agreement, it is wise that he informs us electronically via info@giethoornbootjehuren.nl as soon as possible. If the consumer cancels, Giethoorn bootje huren can claim a fixed (fixed) compensation of:

• 10% of the agreed rent in case of cancellation up to 2 weeks before the start of the rental period with a minimum of €10.00;
• 20% of the agreed rent in case of cancellation up to 48 hours before the start of the rental period with a minimum of €15.00;
• 100% of the agreed rent in case of cancellation within 48 hours before the start of the rental period.

If the consumer cancels a rental agreement, he can ask Giethoorn bootje huren if another person can take over the agreement via a 'substitution' or move the date. If Giethoorn bootje huren agrees, the consumer will owe a change fee. These change costs amount to 10% of the agreed rent with a minimum of € 10.00 and a maximum of € 25.00.

In case of a less good than expected weather forecast, Giethoorn bootje huren always looks for a reasonable solution together with the consumer!
